We went back to Lefkada at the end of October to meet our partners and supporters, reflect on the 2023 season and start thinking of 2024 action plan!

Minimising the impact of yacht anchoring on the posidonia sea grass will be a focus of our work, and already we are pulling together tangible information to share with our expert partners whose work focuses on the protection of these valuable resources. Many of the companies who are keen to support sustainable sailing, such as Neilson and Manos Charter have shared their insights to develop an ‘anchoring hotspot’ map that will provide valuable information we will share with NGOs working to protect this precious ecosystem.
