LAUNCH: Sail Sustainably in the Ionian - A Charter Boat Guide

And we are LIVE! On World Ocean Day we were in Lefkada, one of the Ionian sailing hubs, to launch our free guide, “Sail Sustainably in the Ionian - A Charter Boat Guide”, a practical guide for charter boat customers and companies, thanks to a start up grant by the Ionian Environment Foundation.

The world we explore by boat is three dimensional: the intricate network of bays and coastlines, the vast expanse of water, and the seabed teeming with fragile corals, shellfish, sea fans, and seagrass, such as the Posidonia meadows. It is within our power to collectively safeguard the environment and the magnificent seas we have the privilege to explore, by actively avoiding any harm or disruption.

This guide is designed to enhance the sustainability of sailing in the Ionian region, ensuring the preservation of the breathtaking sea and landscape for future generations.
